Look what I can do...

Many moons ago, I wanted these rims called Z rims, I know you have heard of them, and not just Zrims, I had to have the white Mike Buff editions. However, I had nice hubs on my Hutch Trick Star so I ordered the rims and laced them my self..... What does this have to do with anything at all you ask?

About a month ago, while riding with friends and my son, my son cracked his rim. We are pretty sure he landed wrong coming off of a ramp. My initial thought was to purchase a new set of wheels. then I thought, I use to lace my own 20's, why couldn't I lace a 26er?

Well, let me tell you, this took a little while, and I was out of Yuengling, so here's the finished product.....


Not bad for the first time in probably twenty years huh? Just talked to the guys at Bike Cycles, and they are going to true it up for me tomorrow, and he'll be on his way....
